Welcome to The Abbots Langley Foot Clinic. Lead Podiatrist, Helen Jones is an experienced qualified Podiatrist (Chiropodist) who has trained to diagnose, treat and rehabilitate foot and lower limb conditions in order to keep patients active and free from pain.

Helen graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2008 and holds a BSc (Honours) degree in Podiatric Medicine. After graduating, Helen went straight into private practice and has been working as a fully qualified Podiatrist ever since.

Helen is used to treating a wide range of conditions such as ingrowing toe nails, hard skin/callus, verrucas & fungal nails and has gained vast experience working in a number of clinics. For the past 3 years she has been the Principal Podiatrist in a Harley Street clinic. With a client base that ranges from children through to the elderly, Helen provides a service that covers problems relating to all age groups. She has a good relationship with all her patients, and children are always made to feel welcome.

She has much experience with diabetes-related foot problems and recognises the importance of regular checks.

As an insured Member of The Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists and registered with The Health & Care Professions Council (Registered No: CH31199), Helen undertakes ongoing continual professional development to keep in line with current medical practice. What can I expect on my first visit to The Abbots Langley Foot Clinic?

When you first contact the clinic, our receptionists will arrange a suitable mutually convenient appointment for a consultation or treatment at the clinic. Please allow up to 45 minutes for your first appointment when a medical history, assessment and examination is conducted. For further visits please allow 30-45 minutes dependent on what treatment is required.

Your concerns or conditions will be discussed and treatment options will be offered to provide a solution or resolution. Treatment may commence with your consent, using instruments sterilised to clinical standard guidelines assuring optimum infection control.

Please bring several pairs of shoes along to the appointment. This indicates both the amount of space within shoes worn and the choice of the materials to be used. The wear marks give indication where pressure is placed when walking and running.
