Abbots Langley Clinic provides a variety of orthotics to meet your needs. Pedico Custom-Made Orthotics are thin, lightweight, and versatile. They are made from a single piece instead of multiple components and can easily fit into most shoes.

Pre-Moulded Orthotics are competitively priced from just £45.00*.

Custom-made orthotics by Pedico are exclusively priced from £380.00*, depending on our assessment of your individual needs. Please note that in some cases, patients may have an unusual foot structure that requires additional work to manufacture the orthotic, which may affect the price.

*Our prices do not include consultation time, which is added to the total cost.

Abbots Langley Clinic’s practitioners are highly qualified professionals who consistently update their knowledge and skills through Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and by lecturing in the field of Foot Biomechanics and Orthotic Prescribing.

While our orthotics are designed and manufactured to endure for years, their effectiveness may diminish due to changes in foot shape caused by fluctuating weight or the onset of other medical conditions. Therefore, we recommend regular check-ups to ensure that you continue to experience the benefits of wearing your orthotics.

Our team of practitioners specialises in diagnosing conditions such as Achilles Tendonitis, Plantar Fasciitis, Heel Spurs, Metatarsalgia, and other biomechanical foot, spinal, and postural problems. Their ability to diagnose the underlying cause of these conditions should give you confidence in our orthotic prescriptions. Please bear in mind that certain conditions develop over many years, treatment requires time, and symptoms will not disappear immediately.

Care Plan Orthotics Insurance

Care Plan Insurance provides coverage for replacing outgrown, lost, stolen, or accidentally damaged orthotics at a cost of £100.00 for 2 years.

Our manufacturing laboratory will arrange your insurance and send a certificate of cover, which you will need to make a claim.

Once the initial 2-year coverage period expires, you have the option to extend the protection for an additional 2 years at a cost of £100.00.

INSURANCE COVER

Care Plan Insurance covers the following:

Outgrowth:
One replacement pair of orthotics due to outgrowth for patients up to the age of 16. Extended insurance cover provides additional outgrowth replacements (old orthotics must be returned to the manufacturing laboratory).
Loss or Theft:
One replacement pair of orthotics that are lost or stolen will be replaced on a like-for-like basis.
Accidental Destruction:
One replacement pair of orthotics that can no longer be worn due to accidental destruction or breakage will be replaced on a like-for-like basis (damaged orthotics must be sent with a claim).

EXCLUSIONS

Please take note of the following exclusions from Care Plan Insurance:

All practitioner fees.
Replacement of top covers and extensions.
Any change to your orthotic prescription (this does not apply to children under 16).
All replacements must be handled by Abbots Langley Clinic and not the manufacturing laboratory.
